WeMAD, or We Make a Difference, is a free service learning framework that aims to educate schools in Thailand on indigenous communities.

We believe that as an international community, we are best placed to raise awareness about the most marginalized and underrepresented communities in the country. The framework uses Project Based Learning as a primary pedagogy to explore the rich traditions and culture of these communities, and inspire students to take action in support of their cause.

Our goal is to create multilayered curriculums that suit the different delivery methods of schools, allowing ease for both school delivery and campaigns that directly benefit the communities themselves. We know school's have well established service projects, and so to facilitate greater integration we have structured programmes that assimilate within different curriculums and subjects.

We endeavor to create resources for each of Thailand's indigenous communities, and will be piloting our first resource on the Moken people for the academic year 2024 - 2025. We hope to engage with as many schools across Thailand as possible, and are looking for passionate educators to deliver, feedback, and contribute to future resources.

We envision WeMAD as a network of schools working together for the same cause.
